Galveston County Residents Invited To Claim Their Cash, Up To $33 Million

Galveston County residents may have money waiting for them in the state’s unclaimed property database, and they’ll have an opportunity to search for it at two upcoming events hosted by the Texas Comptroller’s office and Galveston County Clerk Dwight D. Sullivan. Unclaimed property representatives from the Comptroller’s office will help people search for unclaimed property online, fill out claim forms and answer questions. The County Clerks staff will be available to assist the public with Probate and other searches in order to claim their property.
